St. John School provides a disciplined, nurturing environment guided by Catholic values, where students grow through rigorous academic experiences, faith and moral formation, and opportunities for service and leadership.

St. John Interparochial School challenges all students to reach their academic potential.  In grades 9-12, the college-preparatory curriculum is rooted in academic achievement, spiritual formation and the pursuit of knowledge. Instruction emphasizes critical thinking and problem solving, as well as leadership and professional skills.

To earn a diploma from St. John School, students must successfully complete 28 academic credits, including all units in the state of Louisiana TOPS University course requirements and four credits of religion; succesfully complete all service requirements; participate in all required retreats; and submit all necessary records and meet all financial obligations to the school by the stated deadlines.

The typical course progression includes options for honors and dual enrollment credits.  Enrollment in dual enrollment courses is dependent on meeting the requirements set forth by the Louisiana Board of Regents, which include a minimum GPA and ACT (or equivalent) score.  Additional adjustments to this progression can be made for transfer students or students with other considerations, but all course requirements must be met.
