Welcome to high school!

New families must complete and return the Application for Admission, along with the documents listed below, and the registration fee. Families will be contacted by administration regarding acceptance.

All new applicants are required to submit the following information to be considered for acceptance to St. John School:

  • Birth certificate of student being considered
  • Baptismal certificate of student (if applicant is Catholic)
  • Social Security card of student
  • Updated Immunization Record of student 
  • A copy of the student's latest issued report card
  • A copy of the student's last full year report card
  • Records of any testing (medical or educational) should be submitted at the time of application
  • If the student has been home-schooled, a copy of the results of all standardized tests taken by the student for grade placement should be submitted at the time of application
  • An interview with the principal must be conducted in order for the student to be considered for acceptance to St. John School
  • The student may be given an admissions test before being accepted to St. John School

Applications Open - November 2, 2020

Welcome to St. John High!

Prospective students can submit applications.

Incoming 9th grade students must use the shared Diocesan high schools application and indicate St. John at their school of first choice. A system-wide fee of $65 must be included with the application to cover processing fees for the high school placement test. 

Prospective students in grades 10-12 should use the High School Application for St. John School. No testing or additional application fees are required.

9th Grade Application Deadline - November 20, 2020

Ready for 9th grade?

All applications and application fees for incoming 9th grade students are due by November 20.

All current St. John 8th graders who apply by November 20 are guaranteed acceptance, provided they complete the 8th grade in good academic, discinplinary, and financial standing and have an acceptable attendance record. 

This deadline does not apply to students applying to 10th-12th grade.

Placement Testing - December 5, 2020

Required Placement Test

All incoming 9th grade students who apply to St. John as their school of first choice must take the high school placement test at St. John on Saturday, December 5. The test will begin at 9:00 am and take until approximately noon to complete.

Additional details regarding the placement test will be sent to students who have completed the application and selected St. John as their school of first choice by the November 20 application deadline.

This does not apply to students applying to 10th-12th grade.

Acceptance Letters Mailed - February 10, 2021

You're ready!

Students will be officially notified of their acceptance to St. John  via letter, which will be mailed on February 10, 2021. Acceptance letters will also include information regarding registration, tuition, and fees for the school year. 

Students who are current St. John 8th graders are guaranteed acceptance if they have applied by November 20 and complete their 8th grade year in good academic, disciplinary, and financial standing, and with an acceptable attendance record. 

Students who did not apply by November 20 may receive notification of their acceptance after February 10.

Registration for 2021-2022 - February 15-26, 2021

Regular Registration Period

The regular registration period for new and returning St. John students.

New families should fill out the Application for Admission and return to school, along with all appropriate documents and the registration fee.

8th grade students/incoming freshmen should refer to the information about the November application deadline.
