Regular registration for returning and new students is held each spring. Current students whose fees are up-to-date will be provided with the necessary registration materials; current students whose fees are delinquent are not allowed to register until all delinquent fees are paid. Instructions for online registration are posted here. All fees required at the time of registration are non-refundable;  returning and new students who register after the scheduled registration period will pay an additional fee for late registration. Students who are offered admission are not considered enrolled until all applicable registration fees have been paid and documentation submitted, even if online registration has been completed.

All students in grades K-12 who are offered admission and enroll in St. John School are considered provisionally accepted for a period of 90 days, beginning with the first calendar day of the school year. Students may also be provisionally accepted for a period longer than 90 days based on attendance records. Students are required to be fully immunized in order to be accepted into St. John School, and must maintain immunizations for the duration of their enrollment. Students who fail to remain fully immunized may be asked to withdraw.

Class and supply fees are determined on a yearly basis and are subject to change. The class fee for grade 11 includes an activity fee and funding for St. John prom, which is hosted by the junior class.  The class fee for grade 12 includes an activity fee and funding for senior retreat and graduation activities. All fees are non-refundable.

Tuition and fees are set on a yearly basis by the Finance  Committee and reviewed by the Advisory Board. Full tuition and fees may be pre-paid by May 1 or  paid monthly through participation in FACTS tuition- management program. A 2% discount is given to pre-paid tuition. The administration is responsible for supervision of all fiscal matters,  including penalties for delinquent or non-payments. Under contractual agreement, St. John  reserves the right to withhold grades on progress reports, report cards, and exams for non-payment of tuition and fees. An account that is delinquent for 90 or more days may result in expulsion for non-payment. Records will not be released for students with delinquent fees who transfer to another school.

A limited amount of tuition assistance is available; tuition grants are  good for one year and are based on need. A parent or guardian must apply for tuition assistance by contacting the administration of St. John School and completing the an application form. Applications are due by May 1 with all paid tuition fees. Qualifying assistance is awarded by June 30. Additional assistance, if available, may be awarded during the year on an as needed basis.

Class Fees

2021-2022 SCHOOL SUPPLY FEE/CLASS DUES

In grades K – 3, a supply fee of $40.00 is collected from each student. Teachers of grades K-3 will purchase initial supplies for the beginning of the school year for all students. Parents of students in grades 4 - 12 will purchase their own supplies. A school supply list for grades 4 – 8 will be posted on the school website at www.stjohnschool.org by July 1 st. High school students will be given supply lists on the first day of school.

 

Class dues are collected from all students:

CLASS DUES ($15) in grades PreK3 – 8 are used to purchase snacks, treats, and food for seasonal parties and other special events that are held for students throughout the year. Additionally a portion of these monies are used to create auction baskets for our school’s annual auction.

FRESHMEN AND SOPHOMORE CLASS DUES ($20) are used for homecoming activities, defrayed field trip costs, guest  speakers, special presentations, and the class auction Baskets.

JUNIOR CLASS DUES ($100) are collected in keeping with the tradition of juniors planning, organizing, and hosting the Jr./Senior Prom. These dues help to cover all the expenses of putting on a memorable prom for students and their dates along with other school related activities. Additionally a portion of the dues is used to create an auction basket for the school’s annual
auction.

SENIOR CLASS DUES ($200) cover the regular student activity fee, as well as the special senior activities such as: an overnight retreat including meals and transportation, Maypole Civic Center rental, reception, decorations, and programs, Senior Honors Night awards, Graduation cap and gown, diploma, diploma cover, program, and decorations. Additionally a portion of the dues is used to create an auction basket for the school’s annual auction. If you would prefer to pay $100.00 now and $100.00 in January, those arrangements can be made. Either the full amount of $200.00 or half the amount of $100.00 is due by August 1st.

All fees can be paid with one check and more than one student’s fee can be paid on the same check. Checks may be made payable to St. John School. Please include on the check the student’s name and grade

All fees are due by August 1, 2021.
