St. John Interparochial School provides a disciplined, nurturing environment guided by Catholic values, where students grow through rigorous academic experiences, faith and moral formation, and opportunities for service and leadership.

Thank you for being a part of our Eagle family! St. John School has been providing quality Catholic education for more than 165 years, and we look forward to the opportunity to continue that tradition this school year.

The education of a student is a partnership between parents/guardians and the school.

Dear St. John Family,

Once again, our COVID-19 Protocols for students in the Diocese of Baton Rouge Catholic Schools has been updated.  A complete, updated (February 7, 2022) policy is available on the Catholic Schools Office website at csobr.org.

The policy for symptomatic students and those who test positive for COVID-19 has not changed.  Those students are still expected to stay home in isolation for 5 days and wear a mask for 5 days when they return to school.  Additionally, reporting symptoms, positive test results and close contact with positive cases is still required.

However, there has been an update to the policy in regards to students who are exposed to COVID-19. If your student is exposed or comes in close contact with someone who has COVID-19 but your student is not having symptoms, no quarantine will be required.  Instead, exposed students may continue to attend classes unless symptoms develop.  Additionally, these students must wear a well-fitted face mask covering nose to chin for 5 days.  Please note that at any time, these students become symptomatic, they will be isolated immediately and the protocol for symptomatic students will be followed.

We look forward to a great rest of the school year filled with the return of many of our fun activities!  We recognize that this is only possible because of your continued support and cooperation in helping our St. John School students remain on campus for in-person learning throughout this school year.  We appreciate all of our families and look forward to continuing the legacy of providing a quality Catholic education for our students.
