Head Coach

As a graduate of Ouachita High School in Monroe, Coach Collins continued his education by playing baseball at ULM and finishing his Bachelor’s degree at McNeese State University. Coach Collins brings 7 years of head coaching experience and was awarded the State Coach of the Year and a three-time recipient of District Coach of the Year.

Marcum Olano

Assistant Coach

Coach Olano comes with us with over 22 years of experiences in coaching athletics. With a Bachelors of Science degree in Secondary Education from Our Lady of Holy Cross College, Coach Olano taught and coached football for 22 years, baseball for 13 years, and softball for 7 years. Throughout his career, he has been an assistant and head coach for all 3 sports. He also comes to St. John with three certifications in teaching Social Studies, Physical Education and Special Education.
