The
mission of St. John Interparochial School is to develop the spiritual,
intellectual, and physical capabilities of each student in a Christ-centered
environment thus continuing the rich tradition of the school.
Established in 1853, St. John integrates religious values in the daily
life and learning of each student. The faculty and staff believe in building
a community of faith, love, and service to others that extends beyond
a classroom setting. St. John offers a solid religious foundation and
a well-rounded education that add new dimension to a student’s personality,
character, and moral standards. St. John Interparochial School is drawing
students from seven surrounding area church parishes.

St. John Interparochial School is accredited by the Louisiana State Department
of Education and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. We
are members of the Diocese of Baton Rouge, the National Catholic Education
Association, and the Louisiana High School Athletic Association.
