Purpose of the Advisory Board

The School Advisory Board in the Diocese of Baton Rouge serves as an advisory body to the school Principal and Pastor. It is responsible for advising on policies that advance the philosophy of Catholic Education, providing a forum for discussions on policies and plans, and developing and maintaining the school strategic plan. The board also conducts annual Principal performance evaluations and makes recommendations to the Pastor. Additionally, it acts as a public relations arm of the school and represents its constituency.
