The School Advisory Board in the Diocese of Baton Rouge serves as an advisory body to the school Principal and Pastor. It is responsible for advising on policies that advance the philosophy of Catholic Education, providing a forum for discussions on policies and plans, and developing and maintaining the school strategic plan. Additionally, it acts as a public relations arm of the school and represents its constituency.

Established in the 1950s, the St. John Fathers Club is a group of fathers from St. John School who care deeply about the school. They work diligently to provide a great education, opportunities, and a good environment for the kids and families in Iberville Parish and nearby areas. They give their time, prayers, and resources to make the school the best it can be for the children. They invite all parents, grandparents, and other caring family members to join them.

The mission of St. John Home and School Association is to: 

• support the faculty and school administration
• foster a caring, Christian community of parents
• strengthen parental involvement in all school activities
• promote the advancement of a quality, Catholic education
